The Final Embers — Community Selection Tasting Kit

This tasting kit is how the second release from The Final Embers will be chosen.

Only 30 kits exist.
Demand exceeded supply, and participation was determined by ballot. If you are reading this, you are one of the thirty selected to take part. A private payment link has been issued to you alone and will not be reused.

Inside are four blind cask-strength whiskies, each drawn from a different cask under consideration for Release #2. They are identified only by letter and ABV. No distillery names. No cask types. No backstory.

You are not being sold a narrative.
You are being asked to help create one.

Your role has two parts.

First, you will assess each whisky on its merits — nose, palate, finish, balance, and overall preference — and submit a structured scorecard. These results will determine which whisky becomes the next official release from The Final Embers.

Second, you will be invited to describe the character of each whisky in your own words. Not tasting notes, but atmosphere:
the place it takes you to, the moment it suggests, the scene it belongs in.
A storm-soaked deck at sea. A warm hearth in a quiet inn. Something else entirely.

These impressions will be aggregated to shape the published flavour profile and narrative of the final release.

The liquid decides the winner.
The community helps define how it is remembered.

As a permanent record of that decision, the reverse label of the final release will include the names of all thirty participants who took part in the selection.
